Introduction. Against the backdrop of changes in Ukraine's legal system and the rapid development of digital financial technologies, the study of the stages of law enforcement, in particular legal qualification, is of particular importance. This stage, although not always mandatory, often plays an important role in comparing factual circumstances with legal norms. As an optional element of legal regulation, it requires an in-depth analysis, especially in the area of complex legal relations, such as the regulation of virtual assets and cryptocurrencies, which are actively developing in Ukraine.
