Abstract
The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations as well as modern approaches to assessing the intensification of green energy development in the context of ensuring economic transformation and sustainable growth. It systematizes conceptual approaches to defining the economic nature of the processes of intensification of the energy sector's development under climate challenges and the global transition to a low-carbon economy. A multi-level model for assessing energy transformation processes is substantiated, providing evaluation based on four key criteria: institutional readiness, investment and innovation capacity, energy efficiency, and the level of decarbonization.
