Abstract
Technological capabilities of cutting (blade and abrasive) tools were theoretically substantiated from the point of view of their strength. Determined were optimal correlation between the ultimate shearing strength of the material and the cutting tool, which are realized for a zero front angle of the tool and eliminates the possibility of destruction of tool’s cutting section during the process of cutting. Efficiency of application of ultra-hard surface deposited materials of abrasive polishing was proved, allowing to perform more productive and quality treatment, as compared to blade cutting tools
