CONDITIONS FOR RESEARCH OF INFLUENCE OF SPANDREL BEAM WITHOUT CRACKS ON STRESS-STRAIN STATE OF REINFORCED CONCRETE FLOOR SLAB

Abstract
The problem of designing reinforced concrete cast-in-place flat plate floor is analyzed. It is reported that there is need to increase the stiffness of exterior panels by counting for stiffness of spandrel beams in a floor structure. It is pro-posed the version of the method to estimate the influence of spandrel beam on flat plate floor, taking into account the change of elasto-plastic properties of concrete. It is provides recommendations for optimal size of spandrel beam. Va-lidity of the results and of the main conclusions of the proposed method is confirmed by using both methods in static calculations (force method and displacement method) and coincidence with their results.
