Abstract

The essence and the importance of program-oriented and goal-oriented approach in development management of the educational institution are defined in the article. The concept content of the development program and the difference of the development program of school from the traditional long-range plan are revealed. The structure of the development program is presented; its main sections are briefly characterized: problem analysis of condition of the school, concept of school development, plan of action.
