Abstract
In mergers and acquisitions the integration of organizational cultures is one of the most challenging tasks. Application of methods of organizational development can greatly improve the efficiency of companies’ consolidation, as evidenced by example of "Gornostai" educational centre. As a result of the application of Cameron and Quinn’s methodology of organizational culture diagnosis and change, the differences in the perception of the current and the desired state of culture were identified as well as the steps for transition from the situation "as it is" to the situation "how it should be".
