AKYN ARTS MULTIFUNCTIONALITY AS A BASIS OF ORIGIN OF PROFESSIONAL LYRICAL SONGS IN KYRGYZ CULTURE

Akyn is one of the most popular figures of the traditional musical and poetic culture of the Kyrgyz people. Akyns belong to the type of syncretic figures that unite in one person the songwriter and performer of vocal (lyrics and melody) and instrumental compositions; as well as culture-bearer and expert of traditional morality norms (adat and sharia) and a master of the family and domestic ceremonies. The brightest and most revered akyns function is to participate in the poetic competitions-aytyses among different descents. After the victory in the aytys, akyn not only asserts himself as a creative person, but he also rises his descents in the estimation of the public.
