Abstract

A concept and main features of criminal intelligence as a function of operatively-search activity of internal affairs organs are investigated in the article. Author describes world practice of law-enforcement activity, legislative acts of the European countries, advanced studies in the field of counteraction of criminality and offers a personal opinion and gives suggestion about improvement of the Ukrainian legislation. On the basis of comparative analysis of legislation of countries of European Union, basic directions of realization of reconnaissance function of operatively-search activity of organs of internal affairs are indicated. Reasons of criminal intelligence development are indicated in Ukraine. The certain normative acts of Ukraine, which require changes and additions in connection with the necessity of development of criminal intelligence, are indicated. Author proves the necessity of improvement of scientific paradigm of operatively-search activity and development of criminal intelligence within the framework of scientific theory and practice of law-enforcement activity
