THE FORMATION OF THE SEX-AGE STRUCTURE AND MARRIAGE-FAMILY COMPOSITION IN ABSHERON ECONOMIC REGION

The article analyses the demographic changes that are occurring in the age-sex structure of the population and its formation as a result of population movements in the Absheron economic region. Comparative analysis over the past ten years (1999?2009) age and sex structure has undergone significant changes, which were expressed in the following: a decreased share of children by 10.3 points; the increase in able-bodied age groups 10.1 points.The favorable age structure and sex ratio of the population affect the formation of marital and family structure of the population of the economic region.Observing the intensity of growth in the number of families and marriages caused by socio-economic status of the population. Modern sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic has the necessary prerequisites for the implementation of the programs of demographic policy.
