CLINICAL OBSERVATION OF EFFICACY OF JOINTCARE TABLET & JOINTCARE GEL IN THE CASES OF OSTEOARTHRITIS

Amongst different types of Arthritis, osteoarthritis (OA) is most common form of joint disorders all over the world, which is a kind of joint disorders that results from cartilage degeneration. It occurs more frequently as we age but at present scenario due changing in food habits and lifestyle errors it also seems to visualize in younger and middle age group. In recent years, researchers believe that chronic inflammation laid down foundation stone of variety of joint disorders including OA and others life style related disorders. Similarly, the concept of Ama of Ayurveda and its divergent role in the pathogenesis of variety of disorders is of quite significant. The outcomes of conventional management through oral, injectable/topical steroidal and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are sometimes dramatic but always associated with adverse effects and side effects. In view of this, present study was conducted to observe the efficacy and safety of Polyherbal Ayurvedic formulations Jointcare tablet and Jointcare gel in cases of osteoarthritis.
