Abstract
This article is dedicated to one type of story in modern Arabic literature ? “very short story” and its genre particulars. The analysis of the development of modern Arabic short story in the 80th of the twentieth century ? 2000 reveals a new type and new forms of short story in Arabic literature. Increasingly, such content takes the form of short story, consisting of one or two pages. This genre of short stories was a revelation in the short stories of the 80?90th of the twentieth century and became known as “kissatun kasiratun jiddan” ? “very short story”. “Very short story” has emerged as a separate genre in the creativity of Mounir Uteybа, Izzat al-Kamahavi and Zakaria Tamer and other writers
