In the article methods of fixation of detention in the investigation of crimes on criminal procedure law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam are considered. Analysis of the problem of fixing detention, of difference in the legal regulation in the law of the Socialist Vietnam and the Russian Federation, as well as analysis of the legal basis for fixing the detention of a suspect are produced.
