Abstract
Image enhancement plays a significant role in vision applications. To overcome the limitations of earlier techniques a new technique is proposed that has evaluated the k adjustment factor automatically using the TABU search to find the very good similarity value or of the given set of values which represents the image in better manner. The utilization of edge preserving smoothing has ability to decrease the effectuation of noise and also it preserves the edges in efficient manner so provides better results. Additionally the proposed technique has used TABU search based k factor which include caused it to be more practical. The comparison between the existing and the proposed technique has clearly shown that the proposed technique outperforms over the available methods.
