The system of postgraduate pedagogical education as one of continuous education’s priority components

In the article an attention is paid to a very important branch in Ukrainian system of education ? the postgraduate pedagogical education, which includes certificated specialists’ organized and systematized training for breaking a gap between their professional training in higher educational establishments, their professional experience and new demands due to changes in science and society. The preconditions of modernization and transformation the processes of postgraduate education were named. The content, regularities, tasks of postgraduate education system and one of its kinds ? teachers’ qualification increasing and also preconditions modernization, were singled out. It determines the choice of content, forms and methods of working in postgraduate pedagogical educational establishments.
