IN THE NATIONAL STRUGGLE THE ENVER BEHNAN SAPOLYO’S IMPRESSIONS AND THE OXCART ARMS

Many academic and original studies are carried out for the period of National Struggle which was the first phase of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. However, according to Turkish historical perception the significant topics of research are the structures of Turkish political and military history. Therefore the history of social and individual investigations remained partial. In recent years, noticeable improvements in historical sociology, cities, ethnic elements and cultural values of the individual and the community to make critical examination of other sub-units have become popular in historical understanding. Within the framework of this new popular history, the period of the National Struggle in the individuals’ live, undertaken duties, human moods, ideas and expectations of structures thought to contribute to the discovery of this time. As an individual, Enver Behnan Sapolyo during the time of the National Struggle he carried the existence of national feelings. His national feelings are an example of the discovery of thoughts and feeling of his public. In addition, during the National Struggle, he gave a valuable historical data about his duty in the oxcart arms, whereby it contributes a significant knowledge for known about what happened the behind front line.
