Abstract
Development of the communication and information tools, Internet networks and social media, has revealed major changes on social, political, economic and cultural life. With all these changes, called the globalization process, people can easily access to all developments and different experiences in different part of the world. All these facilities turned the world into a global market and competition area. To be able succeed in this competitive environment you need to have a continuous and high quality education. In a paradoxical way the globalization phenomenon has brought on the one hand the concentration of many things, but on the other hand decentralization and development of local values. This article aims to analyze the effects of globalization process and internet on education system. The basic assumption of this article is that the globalization process has caused majors changes on traditional education systems. To be able succeed in the global world you need to have a new continuous and effective and creative educational system.
