Abstract
The main enzyme of clopidogrel biotransformation in the liver is CYP2C19. It's considered that therapeutic response in patients, receiving clopidogrel, depends on polymorphism of the gene, encoding this enzime. Information on antiagregant activity and prognostic significance of clopidogrel therapy, depending on the genotype of patients with myocardial infarction, is controversial and requires further study. The prevalence of carriers of mutant alleles of gene CYP2C19 in Ryazan population is 27.3%. This underscores the relevance of the research in this direction for the Ryazan region.
