Abstract

The results of modeling, using discriminant analysis, the risk of epilepsy development in juvenile boys and girls, inhabitants of Podillyan region of Ukraine, depending on the peculiarities of their body sizes and structure are described and analyzed. It is established that the discriminant level is significantly higher in the models in juvenile girls than in juvenile boys in the respective models as in general groups, and in groups of brachycephalic persons. In discriminant models in most cases are: in juvenile girls ? the thickness of skin and fat folds and the width of the distal epiphyses of long tubular bones of the extremities, and in the juvenile boys ? the thickness of skin and fat folds and the cephalometrical sizes.
