Abstract
The article presents comparative evaluation of open and thoracoscopic selective cervical and thoracic sympathectomy in patients with Reynaud’s syndrome. Thoracoscopic selective cervical and thoracic sympathectomy is a minimally invasive and esthetic procedure which allows for a short hospital stay and low percentage of post-operative complications. Open cervical and thoracic sympathectomy had the following benefits: possibility of performing bilateral sympathectomy which allows for cutting expenses, and minimizing stress due to surgical procedures. Both methods are acceptable in clinical practice.
