Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the daily dynamics of the concentrations of nitrogen oxides and sulfur in the ambient air in the historic center, Ryazan and influence the direction of the wind flow at these concentrations. The study showed that the maximum single concentrations of oxides of nitrogen and sulfur at atmospheric air in the historic centre, Ryazan did not exceed the standard values. On working days the concentration of nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide in the ambient air were determined sources of pollution located in the city centre, with the largest concentration was formed in calm weather. At the weekend the greatest impact on concentratie of nitrogen oxides in ambient air had a circumferential highway.
