Article reviews the current literature on the issues of female alcoholism. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the causes and stages of alcohol dependence in women. Describes in detail the stages of the flow of alcoholism in women, depending on age, social status or family status. Special attention is given to the development of alcohol dependence in women in marital relationships with men alcoholics. In light of the present data are the options in terms of prognosis and rehabilitation approaches to the treatment of alcohol dependence in women.
