Abstract
The article analyses management tactics in patients with coronary artery disease and atrial fibrillation in real outpatient practices basing on a registry study. The study included 243 patients (168 [30,9%] men and 75 [69,1%] women) with diagnoses of AF and CAD. Most of the patients had combined cardiovascular pathology, and a number of concomitant non-cardiovascular diseases. Main defects in providing outpatient care to the AF and CAD patients were revealed: insufficient rate of follow-up by cardiologist, insufficient rate of obligate instrumental and laboratory assessments, inconsistency of prescribed disease- and symptommodifying pharmaceutical treatment with current clinical guidelines.
