ANALGESIC EFFECT OF MELATONIN IN COMBINATION WITH DICLOFENAC

Abstract
The analgesic activity of different doses of the pineal gland hormone of melatonin (0,01; 0,1; 0,5; 2,0; 5,0 and 10,0 mg/kg) and non-narcotic analgesic diclofenac (1,0; 2,0 and 4,0 mg/kg) has been studied within the hot plate test. The analgesic effect of melatonin used to increase during the evening hours. In respect that the hormone is low toxic and is able to interact diclofenac, it is perspective to learn the approbation of the medicaments` combination wider in the clinical practice.
