Abstract
The review presents the recent data of the results of global studies concerning magnesium physiology in the human body as well as the role of magnesium in the pathogenesis of depressive disorders, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. An exclusive method of magnesium deficit correction with the help of the elaborated by the authors supplement Optinerve is suggested. Further ways of more in-depth investigation of molecular mechanisms of magnesium supplementation as a multicenter international study are proposed.
