Abstract
. Ferrous metals are the main material which use in various industries: in mechanical engineering, aircraft industry and shipbuilding, for production of a metalwork for industrial and housing construction, transport communications and equipment.
Steel works of Ukraine provide the production not only to the countries of the former UIS, but also abroad. Thus production has to be qualitative not to lose clients and to keep the competitiveness in the world market. Therefore the problem of receiving a complex of properties of this or that metal becomes even more actual as allows to find equivalent domestic substitute to foreign brands of steel both on structure, and on properties. One of the most important aspects of the solution of this task is quality control of products. Creation of the automated system of the metalgraphic analysis of cuts of alloys on the basis of processing of their images is an actual task.
