Abstract
This paper aims to start a discussion on the relation between time and space through its examination of the digital stories created by the authors in a digital storytelling workshop called “Ocakta Yemeğim Var [I have food on the stove]”. The authors designed this workshop as a pre-event for March 8th International Women’s Day. The workshop aimed to collect and circulate the experiences of the women who are writing their dissertation thesis and feel the pressure of time in their everyday life. The authors of this paper were the facilitators of the digital storytelling workshop and they created their own digital stories about their everyday life routine during their thesis-writing process. In order to raise a discussion on self, story, time and space, they decided to position themselves in self-reflective states and examine how digital stories enhance the celebration of relational selves in each other’s narratives.
