Reinforcement in cortex neurons integrative activity
Journal: I.P. Pavlov Russian Medical Biological Herald (Vol.1, No. 12)Publication Date: 1999-03-10
Abstract
The spike activity of visual and parietal cortex neurons was registered in pre-trained cats during operant feeding behavior. Changes in experimental situation such as delay and repeal of supporting led to changes of neuronal synaptic activation, and some neurons reorganized patterns of spike activity as compared with standard behavioral acts; the changes in spike activity reflect the alterations in neuronal integrative state.
