Abstract
The article considers the scientific texts that are used in the training of professional speech activity with foreign students of technical high schools. The considered peculiarities have shown the authors the need of introducing them into the system of training in the field of scientific and professional field in technical universities. The article describes the typology and peculiarities of pre-text and after text exercises design, presenting practical exercises that can be used during the preparation of teaching materials for foreign students at the classes of Russian as a foreign language. The importance of scientific text in Russian language teaching to foreign students of higher educational institutions technical specialties is ephasized.
