Abstract
The given article is about clinical and morphological characteristics of teratomas. We give modern clinical and morphological classification of teratomas and recommendations for macro-microscopic evaluation of this group of tumors and show the incidence rate in children on the basis of the data taken from Ryazan regional children hospital. The criteria of morphological diagnosis, the classification of the disease according to its stage and the prognosis are analyzed in detail in the article.
