Abstract
Now the conception of Quality of Life is used in medicine very often, and in psychiatry in particular. Many investigations show that the mental disorders lead to strong disturbance of different features of Quality of Life. The psychiatric symptoms, sex, self-esteem, the duration of the disease, the risk of loosing job, social stigma and social isolation have a great influence on Quality of Life of psychiatric patients. This information may be used for planning psychiatric service and also for the assessment of this service’s results.
