Abstract
In this article there are the results of the studies on smoking among teenagers in the age 14-17 years. 254 school children of 9-11 classes were examined. The conclusion about the high level of smoking prevalence among children and teenagers has drawn. This fact considerably determines unfavorable prognosis of the population health state in the near future. Solution of this most important medico-social problem requires urgent measures on preservation and promotion of health of the younger generation, what provides the different levels and courses of actions.
