Abstract
The inflammatory process in any localization is accompanied by an increase of the enzymatic activity in the focus of inflammation and blood, which is an important patogenenetic element in the development and result of inflammation in the uterus in normal postopartum and postpartum complicated by endometritis. There was the research of activity of the lysosomal enzymes (cathepsin D, β-D-galactosidase, DNA-ase) for determining of their clinical significance in the diagnostics and controlling of their efficiency of treatment of postpartum endometritis. Identified changes in the concentration of these enzymes in metroaspirate are more informative to measure the severity of the inflammatory process in the uterus.
