Abstract
In a study on rabbits the effect of experimental manipulations (false surgery and distilled water administration) on functional P-glycoprotein activity was studied. P-glycoprotein activity was assessed by pharmacokinetic analysis of its marker substrate - fexofenadine. Found that manipulations applied do not lead to modulation of Pgp activity at all stages of the research period.
