Abstract
Differences in the morphofunctional state of the immune system of female Wistar rats in different phases of the estrous cycle are revealed. In the phase of diestrus the indices of cortex volume fraction of thymus and volume fraction of white pulp and marginal zone of lymphoid follicles of spleen are higher; the indices of subcapsular layer width of thymus and index of stimulation of granulocytes in the peripheral blood are lower as compared with the phase of proestrus. Differences in the absolute count and the percentage of T and B lymphocytes, T helpers, cytotoxic, activated and regulatory T cells in the peripheral blood of female rats in the phases of proestrus and diestrus aren’t revealed.
