Abstract
Shoulder injuries are common vehicle accidents, sports activities fall during walking or running. The objectives of this were to identify different injuries occurring in the clavicle, the scapula and the proximal humeral head bones. The inju-ries were also identified in the gleno-humeral, the acromio-clavicular, the sterno-clavicular, and the scapulothoracic joints. The applications of finite element methods were also discussed for the fracture analysis of clavicle, scapula and for proximal humeral head, gleno-humeral, acromio-clavicular, sterno-clavicular, and scapulothoracic joints.
