Abstract
The article demonstrates the examples of proximity of Ancient and Christian images in representation of nature, it studies ethological Ancient traditions in the description of characters, an evangelic image of the Prodigal Son, a Christian image of a misguided Little Man in terms of a typical Pushkin’s idea of mercy and forgiveness.
