ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISINI ARTTIRMADA OKUL MÜDÜRÜNDEN BEKLENEN LİDERLİK ÖZELLİKLERİ (Leadership Characteristics Of Principals Expected For Student Success)

This study aimed to reveal characteristics of principals leadership which are effective for students success. Undoubtedly that, there are so many factors and inducements to being succesfull student, principals are one of the most important factor. The studies which aimed at student success show that in addition to teachers, students even parents, the importance of principals can't be ignored. Principals can effect teachers and parents with his studies and efforts. By this way, principals implement important duty for student's success. Teachers and students who want to achieve learning in school, provide important success with the leadership characteristics of principals. The better education students receive, the more succesfull they are in their life. Succesfull students increase quality of their life as well as they will have happier and more active life. By the way succesfull students indirectly increase quality of life of principals, teachers and others. Also succesfull individuals who are educated for their countries, cause to increase national income. For this reason principals have to present their leadership characteristics in depth. Literature review was conducted about school principals regarding leadership characteristics that affect the success of the students. With this research, various findings were explained and predicted. Which are effective in the achievement of students with leadership qualities sequencing has tried to reveal a general list. As a result of this study it was stated that the success of students should be shown all or a portion of leadership qualities set forth by the school principal when really, lack of success of all students in the school will not be a reason to. As a leader, characteristics of principals can change, but it is possible to say that all the leadership characteristics aim to provide succesfull education in schools.
