ORTAÖĞRETİM ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN ALGILADIKLARI ÖRGÜTSEL DESTEĞİN BİREYSEL ÖZELLİKLERİNE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between their perceived organizational support level and personal traits (gender, age, tenure, marital status, school type and staff). The sample of the study consists of 136 high school teachers working in Derince, Kocaeli in 2013 ? 2014 education year. The study was designed as survey model. Descriptive statistical methods (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation), independent sample t - tests and analysis of variance were used to analyze the data. In the results of the research, the mean scores of teachers’ showed that most of high school teachers have a moderate leve l of organizational support while some of them have a high level of organizational support. Research results show a significant difference according to gender variable and it was understood that female high school teachers perceived more organizational sup port at work than male high school teachers. While organizational support perception of the teachers in high schools don’t show any statically significant difference with regard to tenure, marital st atus, school type and staffing, it shows a positive relat ionship through high school teachers’ age.
