The Model of Policultural Competence Formation of Future Border Guard Officers

Modern science of teaching is based on fundamental knowledge and advanced technologies and directly affects the content, level and quality of education. Training of a specialist who is enriched with cultural knowledge is a requirement of today. The author presents the views of Ukrainian and foreign scientists and researchers on the problem of polycultural competence of future specialists; the influence and importance of the educational process at higher educational establishments on the formation and development of this competence is analyzed. The author presents her own vision of the model of the formation of policultural competence of future border guard officers which includes four stages, the components of this model; the need for its further validation and improvement is defined.
