Abstract
A statistically significant decrease in the concentration of endothelin-1 in the dynamics of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, depending only on the shape of its severity, is revealed. Role of endothelin-1 in the maintenance of systemic blood pressure of patients with hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome is negligible. A polymorphic gene locus of endothelin-1 is not associated with the severity of the disease.
