Abstract
Nowadays the whole concept of making cars has changed and the companies are shifting towards providing more and more comfort to their customers. Despite the increasing interest in chassis electronic systems that use brake circuit and engine injection control to improve vehicle stability at the limit of adherence, vehicle dynamic properties in the midrange of lateral accelerations are normally controlled by passive suspension systems. Every automotive suspension has two goals: passenger comfort and vehicle control. The idea of Adaptive Suspension System is explained here which is designed to neutral jerks due to speed breakers (domes) and uneven surfaces on the roads by actuating suspension system. The system designed is real time and reconfigurable. The main requisite of this work is that the system should be able to control engine and the braking systems.
