Abstract
The article analyses the system of religious motifs in Alexey Tolstoy's novel "Prince Serebrenni" ("The Silver Knight"), which form the novel's plot and represent the author's ideas: Divine Providence, the predestination of characters, Christian death, moral disapproval of the unjust judgement, sins and the Last Judgment.
