Economic and educational achievements of Yevhen Khraplyvyi in western Ukraine during the second half of XIX - XX century and his contribution to the development of economic and financial education cooperative

Abstract

The research analyzes the activities of a public figure, an agronomist, cooperator, financier, economist, educator, scholar, Ukrainian Institute of technical and economic and UFU professor, the member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society (1935); ideologist and social agronomy practitioner in Galicia; Minister of Agriculture in the government of Ukrainian National Government in 1941. Since 1928 he was a Director of plowmen ?Rural host?. Being an outstanding organizer, he contributed to the rise of Galician village, and in particular its dairy farming and estate organization of plowmen ?Rural host?. He successfully developed the education in villages, especially created "The training of young plowmen", established the Ukrainian Society of agronomists and became its first chairman. The contribution of this scientist to the development of economic and educational heritage of Western Ukraine is explored. Advanced ideas of Y. Khraplyvyi in the work of fellowship “Rural host” and his contribution to the development of the plowmen schooling among the rural population were analyzed.
