Abstract

Detachment of droplet is importantprocess in hydro cleaning and tertiary oil recovery from narrow passage ofporous medium. Carbon tetrachloride droplet is attached on the bottom of closechannel. Water is being used as a shearing fluid. Deformation and detachment ofCCl4 droplet is visually observed in the presence of surfactantsodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS).
