Abstract
Education has been the instrument in the development of man to enable him live an effective and meaningful life and to contribute towards the development of society in which he finds himself. The influence of Intelligence quotient and Emotional Quotient of the individual for developing innovative thinking plays vital role. Developing Emotional Intelligence can play a significant role in recruiting and retaining people as it gives a more accurate analysis of the job requirements, the candidate's capability, of the difference between t he two, and the development and training needs to bridge the gaps.
