Abstract
In the paper, control and stabilization problems are considered for linear systems controlled by first-order impulses only. It is shown that the Kalman rank condition for linear systems remains to be true when the class of admissible controls is reduced by excluding continuous controls. For two-dimensional systems, the impulsive feedback control ensuring asymptotic stability of the equilibrium is constructed. It is proved that this control is optimal with respect to the number of trajectory jumps.
