Abstract
The generalisation of the Sretensky problem of transverse oscillations of a cylindrical vessel with ideal liquid is made for a case of bottoms as elastic plates. The expression for the added mass of the liquid is received. The analysis of the frequency equation is conducted. A graph-analytic method is proposed for research of the stability of equilibrium position of the mechanical system.
