Abstract
The article is dedicated to the possibilities of using association experiment for language education purposes, a special attention is given to the creation of associative text field. The results of the comparative analysis of associative text fields from different works of fiction can be used in language education when developing a system of tasks for a foreign-language audience. The article presents the analysis findings and the examples of different types of tasks created with regard to the material obtained from such analysis.
