Abstract

The major part of terms related to the translation of scriptures has an adequate direct correspondence in Russian and German. The translated units specified in the article operate in the non-equivalent field. Nonequivalent units can be translated by various means: transliteration, calquing, using interlingua (Latin or Greek), supportive or descriptive translation.
