Abstract
Despite the the vast number of choral works by Georgy Sviridov, the cycle "Two words to the chorus of Esenin" left "unattended" in the art historical literature, although in these choral miniatures contains slight characteristics of the composer’s "handwriting". Among the other features we can indicate a principle “from the melody to harmony”, which is found to have infraglottic feature that is so beloved in folklore, with its impressively-harmonic variables.
